The species of grapevine, Vitis vinifera, was nearly eradicated by a tiny louse called phylloxera that immigrated to Europe from America. Grafting grapevines saved the species.

For the safety of our customers, we stop serving open bottles 1 hour before closing and wine by the glass 30 minutes prior to closing. We are always happy to sell wine bottles "to go" up until our posted closing time.
