Midwest Grape and Wine Conference
I was able to taste and discuss Chambourcin grapes and wines with other winemakers from Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas. This process re-enforced the uniqueness and quality of Chambourcin that we are able to grow and vint in the Shawnee Hills.
Here at Blue Sky Vineyard we have 3 1/2 acres of Chambourcin that are carefully attended to by our vineyard crew. They go through the vineyard 2-3 times a season removing shoots and clusters to allow the grapes to fully ripen and express the characteristics of the Chambourcin grape.
Next time you visit the winery, sample our Chambourcin Reserve. Maybe you will be able to taste the unique characteristics of our "Estate Bottled" wine. This wine pairs well with steaks cooked on the grill or a hearty pasta dish. I'm getting hungry and thirsty!

For the safety of our customers, we stop serving open bottles 1 hour before closing and wine by the glass 30 minutes prior to closing. We are always happy to sell wine bottles "to go" up until our posted closing time.
