Illinois Grape Growers & Vintners Association's "Wine & Food" Event

Southern region IGGVA is hosting a wine and food event Thursday, November 8th at Blue Sky Vineyard in the Tuscan Sun event pavilion.Event Facility

Sip on award-winning wines from the 2007 Illinois State Fair Wine Competition and savor delicious 4-star food prepared by Chef Jamie Boaz.  Chef Boaz will prepare an un-forgettable meal that is suited perfectly to the award-winning wines each course is paired with.  Enjoy wines from nine different Southern Illinois wineries and a six course meal prepared by the C-Infinity event center in Cobden, Illinois.

Vintners and viticulturalists will share the winemaking and vineyard practices that they used to create their award-winning wines and Chef Boaz will preview each course and explain why he matched each course with each wine.

Social hour will begin at 5:30 pm and dinner will begin at 6:30 pm.

Tickets are $60.00 per person until October 22, 2007 and $65.00 after October 22, 2007.
