Dorothy Gaiter and John Brecher write "Tastings," the weekly wine column of The Wall Street Journal. They are also the authors of several well-known wine books, including, "The Wall Street Journal Guide to Wine" and "Wine for Every Day and Every Occasion".
Together with other wine connoisseurs, they tasted several wines from different Illlinois and Arizona wineries. Blue Sky Vineyards 2007 "Shawnee Hills" Chardonnay received honors as one of the top five wines in the competition, described as:
Clean and well-made. Pleasant and light. Easy to drink.
